I think I did okay on the translation, but, then again, I haven't studied or spoken Spanish in a couple years, so I would really appreciate it if someone could check over this fan letter.

You wrote "ventilador" which means fan... but actually it's the fan that spins. lol Anywho, pretty good. =]|||They could probably figure out what you were trying to say but there are a few errors. Try this:





Is jarabe de palo a girl? If so, then "querida" is okay. If it's a male, say "querido". And querido is for someone you know personally. I wouldn't use it for someone you don't have a close relationship with. If it's not a close relationship, say "estimado".....and at the end you say, "Tu ventilador". Ha, ha. That's funny. You are saying, Your (air) fan (like on the ceiling). I think you want to say "Fan" like Fan in English, It's the same word. Let's begin:

Yo vivo en los E.E.U.U. y solo queria decirte que me fascina tu musica. Mi lengua nativa es el Ingles y apenas he llegado a aprender el espanol. Y lo he aprendido escuchando tu musica! Matthew, do not depend on the online translators to give you correct Spanish. Many times, they give a quite literal translation of things. Many things that are said in English would be expressed with completely different words in Spanish to communicate the same thing. Good luck with this and I hope it helped you out!
